Self-Guided Adventure – Choose Your Own Challenge! Weather and trail conditions can be unpredictable, so be ready for snow, mud, ice, slush—or all of the above! Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and come prepared to get a little dirty if it’s warm. Embrace the adventure!

Follow the snowmobile trail and enjoy the beauty of Little Young Mountain, then finish your journey with a sweet celebration at Young Maple Ridge Sugarhouse for NH Maple Weekend—featuring maple syrup tastings and homemade small batch ice cream from Papa Beans Ice Cream!

Choose Your Own Adventure: Trail Run, Hiking Trek, or Explorer’s Stroll

Option 1: The Easy Loop (1 Mile 20 to 60 minutes)
A fairly flat, one-mile loop, this route starts on the snowmobile trails and travels back to the Sugarhouse via Wing Road. Perfect for a relaxed stroll, a quick run, or a family-friendly outing!
 
Option 2: The Scenic Jaunt (1.5 Miles Round Trip 1 to 2 hour)
Enjoy a 0.7-mile scenic trek down the snowmobile trail to the historic, original Young Maple Ridge Sugarhouse, then turn around and head back up. This 1.5-mile round trip has some elevation, offering a fun, casual challenge with a touch of history. Along the way, you’ll pass through Young Maple Ridge Sugarhouse’s main sugarbush, where the magic of maple syrup begins!
 
Option 3: The Summit Challenge (5.2 Miles 3 to 5 hours)
For those craving adventure, this 5.2-mile trek to the top of Little Young Mountain via the snowmobile trail offers a rewarding challenge with spectacular summit views. Perfect for hikers and bikers looking to push their limits, this route also takes you through Young Maple Ridge Sugarhouse’s main sugarbush, where you’ll experience the heart of maple syrup production along the way.
